- Do you want to design useful and sustainable blended learning for your organisation?
- Are you looking for a methodology to help you make an informed decision about which learning technology tool to use?
The purpose of blended learning design is to provide the modalities to enable learners to apply and embed new capability into the workplace. The Blended Learning Design Workshop helps workshop participants to make informed decisions about how to best design learning using thoughtful combinations of facilitator-led, self-directed, mobile and social media modalities.
During the workshop, Alison provides both strategic and operational examples to contextualise blended learning design. Throughout the day, participants put theory into practice to design webinar learning activities, performance support tools and social media platforms, culminating in the design of a ‘utopian’ learner experience.
All workshops are accompanied with 30 day complimentary free access to the Connect Thinking E-Learning Academy.

What is blended learning? The thoughtful combination of learning artefacts and delivery methods that best enables the learning activity required for participants to achieve and sustain the learning outcomes back into the workplace. The ‘blend’ is dependent upon available technology and resources, participant capability, learning preferences, the workplace environment, and the intuitiveness of the learning designer. It is also dependent upon the learning philosophy of the designer, their peers and the organisation’s culture.
